Cosy Corner Free Campground is in the Southern section of the Bay of Fires Conservation Area. Access is via the Binalong Bay Road (C850 ) out of St Helen’s. Take the turnoff on the left into the C848 at the sign – “The Gardens – 13 Kms” This is a sealed road. The road terminates at private land at “The Gardens”.
Cosy Corner Free Campground is a large camping area close to the coastline with many camping areas nearby and to the south. Cosy Corner has 2 separate entrances, one leads to well protected campsites amongst the trees, the other, on the far side of the lagoon, leads to a more open, grassy camping area (larger caravans/motorhomes can access this area).
Facilities include pit toilets, no water or firewood, no rubbish collection. Maximum stay 4 weeks.
