Mendooran Rest Area (aka Junction Camping Rest Area) is a large open grassed shady area on the banks of the Castlereagh River 250mts South West of Mendooran, New South Wales.
Within walking distance to the town, Mendooran Rest Area is opposite the pub and behind the police station.
Facilities at the Mendooran Rest Area include an amenities block with flushing toilets and a shower cubicle, picnic tables, BBQ plates and rubbish bins. A town water tap is located alongside the toilet block
