Currently closed to camping, day use permitted. Unfortunately, due to a problem with the septic tank, this camp area has been closed to overnight camping. A temporary solution has allowed day use visits.
Dumaresq Dam Recreation Area is a delightful free camp located on the shores of Dumaresq Dam, 12 km North West of Armidale, via Boorolong and Dumaresq Dam Roads.
This peaceful, relaxed free camping area has flushing toilets, a covered picnic area with gas barbecue and open fireplace and a small tank for drinking water. Non potable water can be drawn from dam.
