Coopernook Forest Park is located 6km North of Coopernook, 91 kms South of Kempsey or 28 kms North of Taree on Juhles Mountain Rd. If approaching from Brisbane, watch out for a sign on the left hand side giving the above mileages at a “T” intersection with Forest Road on the right hand side. If you are approaching from the South pass through Moorland and it’s only a few kms ahead.
At the Coopernook Forest Park free camping area you will find a large mown grassy area, complete with two covered tables and benches, BBQ facilities, rubbish bins and flush toilets. There is a Ranger station on site and water “may” be available there.
