Carcoar Dam Camping Area is halfway between Blayney and Carcoar, 1 km from the Mid-Western Hwy, and is a popular spot for camping, fishing and swimming.
Facilities for camping with grassy, shady sites overlooking the lake and wind farm, septic toilets and cold shower facilities are provided. There are power outlets in the toilet block for shavers, hairdryers etc only.
